Diana Galligan - Writer & Performer
Diana's passion for writing began at an early age, when a teacher
said she had a "poet's love for words." She trained in
improv and comedy as well as attending Ryerson's Theatre School.
Her comedy training took her to the Second City Training Centre
in the Conservatory Program, and to California to study at Judy
Carter's Comedy Conference. She performs improv regularly at the
Bad Dog Theatre as well as writing and performing stand up. She
created Vivi while studying clown with John Turner & Mike Kennard
(Mump & Smoot), and developed the show performing with the Harlettes.
Viva Vivi! debuted in the San Francisco Fringe
in 2004 to rave reviews and Best of the Fringe Award - Volunteer's
Pick. She performs regularly at the Bad Dog Theatre. She is a web
site producer and marketing specialist in her "other"
life. But really, she'll always be Vivi.
Victoria Goring - Director

Victoria Goring is an actor, director, writer, coach and mom - and
a veteran of the Fringe Festival. Her past Toronto Fringe Festival
shows include Sooz, (One of the highest grossing Fringe plays in
Toronto in 2001), Lie With Me, (mostly sold out run), Happy and
Run (Playwriting award). Reviews of her work call her performance
"captivating" and her writing "innovative."
Victoria is trained in Stage Combat, Corporeal Mime, Dance, Pilates.
Victoria's direction specializes in bringing original works to life.
The results of her sharp, clean style have been witnessed from the
Montreal Gay and Lesbian Festival to the Ford Centre. Born in San
Francisco, she trained with the American Conservatory Theatre and
performed in New York with the Bessie-Winning Margolis-Brown Adaptors
and other movement based theatre companies. She directed the San
Francisco version of Viva Vivi! to rave reviews,
winning Best of the Fringe - Volunteer's Choice Award in 2004.
Sam Ruano - Performer
After completing his BFA in film production, Sam worked as a camera
assistant on the eco-adventure travel show Exploring Horizons .
He spent two years teaching English in Japan, and another two working
as a Production Coordinator for the National Film Board of Canada.
He has written and directed four plays for Fringe Festivals in Montreal
and Toronto, and was named Best New Emerging Writer in 1997 by the
Montreal Mirror. Sam wrote and directed several short films including
THE INFECTED, which was an audience favorite at the 2005 Fantasia
Film Festival. He is an understudy with Second City’s educational
company and performs improv regularly at the Bad Dog Theatre. He
currently can be seen playing fictional tabloid editor Bash Maroof
on Much Music’s “The Totally Untrue History Of...”
Sam is a graduate of the Canadian Film Centre’s Prime Time
Television writing program and currently works as a freelance television
writer.
Simon Fraser - Video Director & Technician

After rising to the top of Canada’s comedy community in the
mid-1990s, Simon Fraser shifted his sights upon directing. He co-wrote
the shorts “Beat the Blue” (2001) and “Zero”
(2003), wrote and directed the shorts "Hair of the Dog"
(2007) and "The Cleanse" (2007), and is currently finishing
work on the semi-improvised short "Wish You Were Here"
(2008). For Internet consumption, Fraser created, wrote and directed
the web series "GO Moonbase" (2007-2008), the third season
of which premieres in July 2008. He has always wanted to work with
Vivi.
Jim Clayton - Musical Score

Pianist and bandleader Jim Clayton has worked as a professional
musician since 1986, and has an international track record of hundreds
of successful shows. With three national awards to his credit, Jim
has also written and performed for Second City and the Bad Dog Theatre.
He owns Jim Clayton Jazz, a company which provides services for
events and gatherings - Jazz Bands, Jazz Music, Jazz Musician. His
inspired, fun sensibility and experience creating comic musical
scores brought a whole new dimension to Vivi. He created all the
music for the show.
