Toronto-based comedic performer, writer, and designer, Diana Galligan
has been performing around town for over 8 years. She's also an
accomplished web designer and online marketer with skills in video,
flash and web development.
She spent 4 years as president of her own web development company
- Peppermill Media.
When the dot-com bubble burst, her mostly dot-com clients vanished.
She had to lay off her staff and close the company doors. As she
was packing up, she realized she wanted to turn the tide on the
situation that had become depressing. Moving her company home
would be a sad transition. She signed up for clown classes and
rekindled her love of comedy.
Viva Vivi! - her first one-woman show - debuted all of Diana's
talents: writing, physical comedy, clown, sketch and improv. It
won Volunteer's Pick for Best Show - San Francisco Fringe Festival
2004.
Most recently, she co-wrote "Helping you Sell - With Sex"
with Irene Duma in the 69 Hour Film Challenge for the Hard Liquor
and Porn Film Festival, where it was selected to be screened at
the festival.
