Diana Galligan has passion for storytelling. She is a director, painter, script supervisor and actor.
Her television appearances include Orphan Black, Blood & Water and Dan for Mayor, as well as several short films and comedy sketches. She recently directed a music video that garnered official selection in the Berlin Lift-Off Online Film Festival.
She has directed over 20 corporate videos for clients including Bell Ontario and York University, several short films and two music videos.
“Viva Vivi!” is her one-woman show about an aging silent film star who has to reinvent herself to survive. The show won Volunteer’s Pick for Best Show at the San Francisco Fringe Festival. Her next show “How to Become a Spinster: 10 Easy Steps to the Life of your Dreams” debuted to full houses at the Toronto Fringe Festival.
For the last 6 years, she has worked as a script supervisor on TV shows including Workin’ Moms, The Baroness von Sketch Show and Ghostwriter.
Her previous experience includes marketing, interactive design and video editing, for companies including Mackerel Interactive, Extend Media, ICE Interactive. The clients included Sony, TIFF, Bell’s Canadian Open, The Canadian Encyclopaedia, ATI, iCraveTV and Owl Television.
Starting in theatre, she worked as a costumer, scenic painter and props builder at Canadian Stage Company, Young People’s Theatre, Kensington Carnival and Second City (Old Firehall).
